At. St. Anthony Catholic School, we believe that the values instilled within athletics yield leadership skills and confident students. Our student athletes learn life-long skills such as character-building, good sportsmanship and teamwork, while participating in the ten different sports that we offer. We believe that the valuable lessons learned on the athletic field translates into success in every facet of our students’ lives.

Eligible middle school students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports throughout the school year
including the following listed below:

  • Basketball
  • Cheerleading
  • Cross Country
  • Tackie Football
  • Golf
  • Softball
  • Tennis
  • Track
  • Volleyball

Students must have an updated physical on file prior to participating in any sports. Athletic fees will be collected through FACTS. Please contact the Athletic Director, Javier Gonzales, at (210) 732-8801 ext. 170, for more information.

Baseball try-outs begins February 20th for boys.


Basketball try-outs begins November 7th and is for boys and girls.

Cheer Team

Cheerleading try-outs begin in May for girls.
