Mrs. Ramirez is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and is a distinguished graduate of St. Mary’s University where she received her Master’s degree in Catholic School Leadership.
Mrs. Ramirez has been a certified educator for over 20 years with 10 years of administrative experience, and has been blessed to serve 18 of those years right here at St. Anthony Catholic School. She has seen the school grow in faith and numbers. Mrs. Ramirez is privileged to serve as St. Anthony’s principal and has made it her mission to uphold the Catholic values and high academic standards established by the Sisters of Divine Providence in 1907, while meeting the needs of 21st century learners

Rita Rodriguez received both a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts in Education (Special Education) from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has been a part of the St. Anthony community since 2007. Mrs. Rodriguez loves the students who attend the school; they are amazing children who bring joy to her life on a daily basis.

Karen Gonzalez attended San Antonio College and Sul Ross State University. Ms. Gonzalez loves going to work each morning because of the school’s close-knit family environment. Ms. Morrell is a graduate of Abilene Christian University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. As a registered nurse, Ms. Morrell has worked in hospital environments but loves being able to work in a Catholic school where she can meet both the children’s spiritual and physical needs.

Mrs. Benavidez attended St. Mary's University and Our Lady of the Lake University. She has a BA in education with minors in Reading and Special Education and a MA in Counseling. While this is Mrs. Benavidez' first year with St. Anthony as the school counselor, she has 30 years experience counseling in the public school system. Mrs. Benavidez has also been part of the St. Anthony community as a parent since 2005 when her son started here in Pre-K until he graduated in 2016. She feels St. Anthony is a blessed place that provides wonderful opportunities for growth for children and is very excited to be able to work here and be part of that wonderful tradition.

Diana Manson holds an Associate in Applied Science (Child Development). She has extensive experience as a pre-school teacher and experience as a director of a child care center. Ms. Manson loves that the St. Anthony community is made up of very special people who help create a loving, learning environment for all! Jennifer Martinez has been part of the St. Anthony community since 1996. She is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word and received her Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M University, Kingsville. Mrs. Martinez is also St. Anthony’s 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year. St. Anthony Catholic School is Mrs. Martinez’ second home. She knows that she can go to work and see hundreds of smiling, happy faces because it is such a loving, nurturing environment.

Joanna Suarez majored in Psychology at the Universidad del Valle de Mexico in Mexico City. She has a graduate degree in Montessori education. Before moving to the United States, she taught at a Montessori school in Mexico for six years. For the past 7 years, she has been a member of the St. Anthony Catholic School faculty, where she proudly serves as a Spanish teacher. She is mother of two alumni, Bjorn and Luka.

Marissa Figueroa is a St. Mary’s University graduate and received her teacher certification from Texas A&M Kingsville. She has both public and private school teaching experience. St. Anthony has always felt like home to Mrs. Figueroa. While she never attended the school, both her younger sisters graduated from St. Anthony Catholic School and her own three boys attend the school. Mrs. Figueroa loves the location, community, and rich traditions of the school.

Mrs. Maspero loves to travel with her family and work with animals on her ranch. I am so excited to be a part of the professional community here at St. Anthony. Our daughter, Ella Grace, has been attending school here since she was just 2 years old, and is now in second grade. Our son, Anthony, also attends school here in the inaugural K2 classroom. I am a San Antonio native, born and raised, and I attended Catholic school from 1st grade through high school at Holy Spirit and Antonian. From there I attended The University of Texas at Austin (GO HORNS!) and earned my bachelor’s degree in education. This will be my 14th year teaching.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Wayne, for 10 years. We enjoy family time with our kids and 3 dogs, watching and attending sports events, and traveling. Aside from my family, I wouldn’t be able to live without good Mexican food, chocolate, and coffee.

Andrew Eubanks graduated from Hendrix College and received a M.Div. from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He was an adjunct professor at Riverside Theology University in New York City and is currently an adjunct professor at The University of the Incarnate Word. Mr. Eubanks loves the school because he truly enjoys working with the other teachers, the staff and the students – he says the students are witty, intelligent, and always full of questions, which makes teaching them a fun experience.

Patricia DeMotte was born in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and is a native Spanish speaker. She has a M.S. in Bilingual Education from Texas A&M University, a B.A. in Business Administration from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and a certificate for LOTE-Spanish EC-12. She and her husband have lived and worked in different counties in Texas giving her the opportunity to work in different public and private schools in several grade levels. She is glad to join the team at St. Anthony Catholic School and is excited to meet your child and share her enthusiasm for learning Spanish and its many cultures. She would like her students to understand the importance of being multilingual and multicultural in our globalized world.

Ms. Gamez received her primary and secondary formation from a Salesian school in a border city of Mexico. As a 2003 Cum Laude graduate from Universidad de Monterrey she has worked as a graphic designer and art director in NYC. In 2009 Ms. Gamez obtained a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from School of Visual Arts (NYC). She brings experience from diverse settings with children and adolescents with a broad range of needs using the arts as a way to support and enrich each student’s skills. Teaching is one of her biggest joys as it keeps her looking into creative ways to connect and share with the students on a daily basis.
As the founder of ACSW she provides growth and development focused art groups to people of all ages and all abilities. Ms. Gamez is passionate about her faith and sharing God’s love through her volunteer service in local organizations.

Mr. Morrell loves the students' interest in technology classes and the creativity that he sees in them every day.

Mrs. Gray is excited to be joining the enrichment team at St. Anthony Catholic School. A native of Dumfries, Virginia, she moved to Texas after graduating from Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music (now Shenandoah University) with a degree in Music Therapy.
She has had the pleasure of working with children in a variety of settings including working as a music therapist at Lufkin State School in Lufkin, Texas, and Ector County ISD in Odessa, Texas. Upon moving to San Antonio in 1997, she served for 10 years as the Children’s Choirs Coordinator at University United Methodist Church. In 2002, Mrs. Gray joined the faculty of St. Thomas Episcopal School where she was the music specialist for all students from 2 years of age through elementary.
Mrs. Gray holds a Texas Music Teaching Certification for Early Childhood – 12th grade, Level 1 Orff Certification, and is also a Music Together Certified Teacher.

Over the years she has developed her teaching skills through experience with the Killeen Independent School District, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) in Vilseck, Germany and most recently with the San Antonio Independent School District.
